Corey MacKinnon

Corey MacKinnon has called Whistler home since 1995. Before entering the trades, he built a career as a professional chef — a background that instilled an eye for precision and a deep respect for quality that carries through everything he does today.

After starting a family, Corey transitioned into roofing and never looked back. He spent 8 years training under an RCABC-certified roofing company, earning his Journeyman Red Seal Certificate and being recognized as the Top Roofing Apprentice for the Lower Mainland in 2011 — ranking among the top candidates in his year.

He founded Diamond Tip Roofing with a simple philosophy: do the job right the first time, communicate honestly with every client, and never let growth compromise quality. That philosophy is the bedrock of everything Diamond Tip Roofing stands for today.

Our focus is tight: flat and low-slope roofs using torch-on and flameless solution membranes. By staying in our lane and doing one thing exceptionally well, we deliver a level of quality that generalist roofers simply can't match.
